| Software Licenses For Academic Research Purposes |

Our software are powerful research tools which make it possible for example to reduce the number of experimental tests, to develop new models, to validate a new approach or to develop new concepts. For this purpose, our ProSim family products are used by many leading research departments to perform their research projects or to train young researchers.
The versions of the software which are provided to the researchers are the same as those provided to our industrial customers (complete and unlimited versions). Subscribers also fully benefit from our services of maintenance, update, training and technical support (MUTS Services).
In particular, people in charge of research activities have access, free of charge, to our scheduled training sessions (see upcoming schedule and teaching content) related to software used.
In this license of software for academic research purposes agreement, the university is in particular committed to use the software only for academic research and to cite the source of the software in all publications on work conducted with the software. It is in
particular forbidden to carry out any engineering study nor consulting service for third parties using the software, even if this is free of charge. Moreover,
this program is limited to “academic” research centers and thus excludes any research center with industrial or commercial purpose.
The table below indicates the software which can be accessed through the license for academic research purposes convention and the corresponding basic financial conditions (the additional charge for borrowable license is 100 € per year).

To register, it is necessary to establish an “Agreement” between ProSim and your university. This agreement specifies the conditions of use of our software as well as the obligations of the parties. Two types of Software License Agreements are available.
Please choose between the Renewable annual license and the Long-term license agreement, download the corresponding MS-Excel file and fill out the form, make it sign by an authorized representative of your university and return it to us by fax or postal mail.

Renewable annual license: the initial duration of the agreement is one year. This period is then tacitly renewed year by year (unless the agreement is terminated by one of the parties). The license fee is payable every year, at the beginning of the period, as long as the agreement is valid. This fee escalates at 3% per annum after the first year. |

Long-term license: The agreement runs over several years. The duration is chosen at the beginning with a number of years set between 2 and 12 years. The license will expire at the end of this period. The license fee requested is payable only once, in advance, for the full period. |
