  The morning session (9:30 to 12:00) will focus on Simulis Thermodynamics, ProSim thermodynamic server. Simulis Thermodynamics can help you make the best of your thermodynamic data, not only by allowing to create, modify, manage components in a particularly convenient environment, but also by providing access to a large number of calculation functions to analyze in details your system.

If you regularly run thermodynamic calculations, work on specific properties or develop software that requires quality physico-chemical properties, this workshop will be particularly useful to you.

By the end of this morning session, you will know in particular:
What is a software component, what is Simulis Thermodynamics.
How this new generation of calculation tools can help you improve the quality and the reliability of your daily calculations.
How it is possible to enrich your in-house software with quality thermo-physical properties.
How Simulis Thermodynamics allows you to better manage, develop and increase the value of your thermodynamic expertise.

Many examples and practical applications will be presented in order to provide you with a clear insight of the capabilities of the software.




[ ProSimPlus page ]
  The afternoon session (2:00PM to 5:00PM) will be on ProSimPlus, a powerful general steady state process simulation software, an alternative to traditional solutions.
ProSimPlus runs complete mass and energy balance on the process and is used in design and operation of existing plants, for performance optimization, units troubleshooting, debottlenecking, process revamping, front end analysis or energy integration. ProSimPlus has applications in most process industries, from chemical, oil and gas treatment to paper and energy industries.

By the end of this morning session, you will have understood:
What are the main capabilities and features of ProSimPlus.
How it can help you better understand and manage your process.
How it is possible to adapt the software to your specific requirements.
How it differs from the traditional process simulation software.

Many examples and industrial applications will be presented in order to provide you with a clear insight of the capabilities of the software.
